I want to use PayPal - do I have to use another payment processor?
Yes. The first version of PayPal that is going out is 'Checkout with PayPal' - you will need an additional payment processor to collect credit cards.

Unfortunately since you need to connect 2 payment processors you will have to wait until we support PayPal to collect credit cards as well.

How does Seller Protection work?
When you ship to the address on this page and provide proof that the item was delivered and signed for, you're protected against claims for items not received. Seller Protection only applies for the address originally used on the purchase. If an address is changed seller protection cannot apply.
Refunding & PayPal
PayPal requires each order is 'settled' before you can do partial refunds. That means that if someone purchases a product on a merchant store but accidentally orders two subscriptions they may have to wait 3 days before they can receive a refund for half their order. If, however, a fraudulent customer orders something on a merchant store and the merchant wants to do a full refund they can do so right away.
I refunded an order, will I get my transaction fees back from PayPal and Cratejoy?
This answer is unfortunately complicated.
Cratejoy refunds transaction fees if you refund an entire order. If you partially refund an order Cratejoy will refund the corresponding percentage of the transaction fees.
PayPal only refunds the 2.9% transaction fee. You will not receive a refund on the 30 cents you pay per order. You can read more about PayPal's policy here.
How can I hide PayPal from checkout without disconnecting completely?
If you wanted to stop accepting new PayPal payments but ensure that existing subscribers are renewed, then the easy way is to hide the button on the checkout page. We've written this doc to help you do this.
